Description

This LP from Vinyl Jam is a mixture of jazz-rock and funky grooves with a feeling and edgy melodism reminiscent of a "big movie" soundtrack. Nostalgia is mixed here with irony, creating unexpected harmonic turnarounds. Multilevel compositions are all still united with a feeling of a live performance, spiced with improvisation and flawless jamming. The fragile and sweet voice of the band's vocalist , Antonia Dahlström, blends together with the vintage keyboards ,effect boxes,brass, drums and guitars, creating a complex sound textures This record is produced in a fully analogue environment with minimum overdubs, following our label's slogan "like in old glorious times". Direct-from-tape mastering was done by Graeme Durham (the Exchange studios, London). As always with Vinyl Jam records: no compromises were made, no corners cut.
